NEGRONI FEATURES

Common Data Model

Negroni is a cloud-based data modeller built on the Common Data Model (CDM) standard. Define reusable, metadata-driven entities and manifests once, then export them as CDM files, database schemas, or deployable Martini packages — before they become databases, services, APIs, or applications.

CDM-compliant modelling

Every entity and manifest you build in Negroni follows the CDM standard — an open, metadata-driven format for representing business data. Define attributes, relationships, and metadata using a consistent structure that stays interoperable outside Negroni.

Entities & Manifests

Every Negroni data model is built from two core CDM concepts: entities, which represent individual business objects with their own attributes and relationships, and manifests, which group related entities into a single business domain. This structure keeps large data models organized and easy to navigate as they grow.

Metadata-driven models

Manifests and entities store their structure as metadata — attributes, relationships, descriptions, and version information — making models self-describing and easier to evolve without breaking existing consumers.

Interoperable data definitions

Because Negroni implements the open CDM standard, manifests exported as a CDM Schema can be used outside Negroni — including with Microsoft Power Platform, ETL pipelines, and other CDM-compatible applications.
